Nagios client Agent Active Mode 及 Passive Mode Pulling and Push機制

為了要有效的監控公司的Production環境機器運行的 HardWare 及 Service 狀況，我們最近開始評估各種不同的 IT Monitor package，其中有一款名為 Nagios 的免費監控軟體有很多網友推薦，於是我們就在自己的環境測試安裝架設，目前 Nagios 的 Server 與Client Agent 溝通有二種模式分別是 Active Mode & Passive mode ，而這二種方式Active Mode 以及 Passive Mode 的說明及限制如下。

 
1. 此機制需要在APR 主機上安裝 Nagios Client Agent
2. 採行Passive Mode 則由 Client 端主動發起連線至 Nagios 的server 回傳APR主機資訊，此類封包可能會被防火牆擋掉，必需要請IT開權限透通某個 port。
3. 採用Active Mode則由Nagios server 主動去和 client agent pulling 監控資料，不會受防火牆封鎖影響，是比較可行的方式。
